Our Roots Connect – Abigail Baidoo 

For my 40th birthday, this is the first aloe vera plant that she’s grown for me that actually grew a flower. So, it was like a gift from my mum and a living memory and a spiritual connection to my maternal family and to her. And it’s also something that I can pass on to my kids as a connection to her. This photo makes me realise that time heals, life continues, and memories are everlasting.
