We are doing a Zoom call, and it is Milana’s birthday and we are pretending we are blowing the candle. She is pretending to blow, and my mum is blowing the candle back home. This is from the point of view of my parents. The cake is back home in Indonesia and Milana is here in London. That was when she was 2 years old. This picture is about being away from family.
